2002年より俳優として活動を開始。100本以上のインディーズ映画に出演。他にも、映画、テレビドラマ、CMなど幅広く活動。

出演した短編映画「八芳園」が、第67回カンヌ国際映画祭短編コンペティション部門に正式出品される。

また、原案・プロデュース・主演を務めた「岐路」は、第38回グルノーブル屋外短編映画祭で特別上映された。

初監督作品の「RICE BALL」は、第41回クリーブランド国際映画祭でワールドプレミアを迎えた後も、国内外の映画祭で多数上映され、第22回トロントリールアジアン国際映画祭でエア・カナダ賞など国内外合わせて4冠を果たす。

 

Yusuke started his career as an actor since 2002. He acted in more than hundred Independent films, and also in drama series, commercials and so on.  One of his film "Happo-en" was nominated for the official selection for the short film competition of the 67th Cannes Film Festival. He worked as a leading actor and a producer of the film named "Bifurcation", which he made the original plan of. It had special screening for the 38th Outdoor Short Film Festival of Grenoble. His first director's film "RICE BALL", was world premiered at the 41st Cleveland International Film Festival. After that, it is also screened at domestic and international film festivals.
